As of 2021 he, alongside Fleetwire, has been kicked off the Krinkels team, Green Pepper Studios, and other Madness Combat related groups due to a recent controversy involving criminal activities.

"Cethic", was a community fan animator who became acquainted with Krinkels sometime in 2016. Since then they have gone on to contribute several art assets in both mainline Madness Animations and many notable fan collaborations. These assets would usually consist of character sprites, backgrounds, or weapons.

Their community alias "Cethic," comes from the fan character of the same name, which they use as their mascot.

Their first contribution was strictly environmental work on Madness Combat 11: Expurgation, then re-spriting Deimos' rock form appearing in DedmosRebuilt.fla alongside some more environmental assets. Afterwards they were tasked with refurbishing Krinkels' entire weapon library, showing up in An Experiment and others.

Controversy

In 2021, Cethic was the primary subject of a call-out post of a former partner of theirs, who had claimed that Cethic actively engaged with/was engaging with illegal activity such as sexual assault, bestiality, and the sexualization of minors.

This corresponded with the discovery that Fleetwire, a notable musician in the community who had earned a reputation for contributing multiple pieces of music to Madness Combat, was also engaging in similar activities (albeit to a lesser degree.) Fleetwire in particular had requested of Cethic stories relating to their childhood sexual assault trauma with the intent of being sexually aroused by these stories.

As a result of this controversy, Cethic was quickly outcasted from the community. They created several google docs to attempt to explain their situation, but it did not improve their standing within the community. Shortly after this controversy, Fleetwire purged all of his social media, including most, if not all of the songs he had initially uploaded. Archives currently exist of Fleetwire's entire discography.

Cethic has since moved on from Madness Combat and has no plans to return.
