"The all-American sports equipment turned cudgel. Strike one, two, and three, and they'll be outta there!" - Ingame description.
The baseball bat is a tier 1 early game weapon in MADNESS: Project Nexus. It is a medium weapon, requiring the minimum of 20 strength to wield it with one hand. It has a unique execution animation when used on a dizzied enemy of the player character swinging at the enemy's head as if it were a baseball.
Strategy
In the early game, the baseball bat is a decent choice for characters who specialize in melee, but is outclassed in damage by other options such as the crowbar. Early game characters will also unlikely be able to use it with one hand unless they have gathered a large amount of imprints.
However, even with low melee skills, the baseball bat's longer range can be used to give an advantage in battle, and the swing speed is serviceable enough while two-handed.
Due to its status as a blunt weapon, it can be used to knock enemies over with the blunt knockdown skill, and has an increased chance to dizzy enemies when swung with a heavy attack. Its length also makes it serviceable for performing charge attacks.
