The scrap boomerang is a weapon in MADNESS: Project Nexus. It is a tier 5 weapon, appearing midway through Arena Mode's progression. It is a small weapon, being able to be one handed with a minimum of 5 strength. This weapon, when thrown, will return to characters who possess the shuriken arc skill.
Strategy
Due to how late it appears in the game, its low damage and durability, the scrap boomerang is a poor choice for just about every character. Due to the shuriken arc appearing very late into the acrobatics skill tree, acrobatic characters will not be able to put this weapon to full use until very late into the game. Even then, there are much better options available for players looking for a weapon that will return to them (such as the okay boomerang and throwing disk.)
However, this weapon does have its uses if encountered during regular gameplay, and may be useful if no other options present themselves. Due to being a slashing weapon, the lawnmower skill applies to this weapon and it will pass through any enemies it kills.
