The welding torch is a weapon that appears in MADNESS: Project Nexus. It is a tier 3 weapon in arena mode, appearing in the early game. It is a small weapon, able to be one handed with a minimum of 5 strength. This weapon is considered a power tool by the game, appearing alongside the drill and circular saw.
Strategy
The welding torch is an excellent option for early game melee combat due to its ability to hit 3 times in a row and its unique swinging animation. If the character using it has the critical swing skill, this weapon is capable of dealing critical hits 3 times in a row, making its damage output high compared to other options. Despite not being available in the shop at this point in the game, this weapon can be acquired from enemies in the Foundry stage in arena mode.
Due to dealing burn damage, this weapon is an excellent choice when fighting Vampires, who are weak to burn damage.
