Overview

The NEXUS Police is the main law enforcement agency of Nexus City, however their jurisdiction lies only within Nexus City itself and NOT outside Nexus City and it is unknown if they will appear in more animations.

They are also the main antagonists of the Madness: JAILBREAK collab and show up at the end of Madness Within Me. Note that the NEXUS Police is not to be confused with the Horny Police

Despite the NEXUS Police’s role, they are critically underfunded and often more than never the NEXUS Core usually takes over their duties.

History

Madness: JAILBREAK

  • The NEXUS Police were deployed to recapture the prisoners after they began a mass breakout of Supermad Prison, but many of them were killed. Better training has been issued since then.

Madness Within Me

  • NEXUS Ground Patrol Division Officers make an appearance at the end of the animation, intercepting Kryy and arresting him after Kryy throws and kills a officer with a knife. After the credits sequence, they can be seen escorting Kryy towards Supermad Prison.

Divisons

Patrol Division

  • The NEXUS Patrol Officer is the main unit of the NEXUS Police, and are given tasks such as patrolling NEXUS City, doing paperwork in Supermad Prison or the NEXUS Police HQ or given reception duty, despite this, their apperance in most Madness Combat Animations are quite low.
  • For their uniforms, they will have long sleeve Navy Blue Police Uniforms with the words 'Police' written behind, they also often don light black - grey vests with the words 'Police' on the behind. They will usually wear a Police Cap, Sunglasses, or all of the above. An alternative to the Police Cap is usually the Police Beret, with a golden star in the middle with the rest being blue.

Specialist Firearms Command

  • Specialist Firearms Command Operatives are for situations where the ordinary patrol officer cannot handle.
  • They often wear Riot Helmets, FAST Helmets, Goggle Helmets and NVG Helmets. They sometimes may wear balacavas but it is unlikely. They will have Medium to Heavy Ballistic Vests with the words 'Police' written on the front and back of it.
  • They also have gloves too, they usually operate SMG's and Assualt Rifles. Some also use Riot Shields which are blue with white text saying 'Police' on the front.

Military Enforcement Command

  • Military Enforcment Command Soldiers are when something goes wrong, they kinda act as first response. They usually wear Black, Tan or Military Helmets with a chance of goggles or NVGs.
  • They can also wear hoods with gas masks sometimes balaclavas too, usually carrying medium ballistic vests and have better strategy and are for heavy situations.

Serious Crimes Investigation Department

  • Serious Crimes Investigation Department is an elite divison tasked with investigating murders, incidents, rampages, mass murders, missing person’s report and so on and so forth.
  • They often will investigate rampages, the most common type of crime in Nevada alone. Rampages are all those incidents where one to four people will rush into a building and kill everyone inside, usually for destruction or to rescue.
  • Usually they are not seen, so their appearance isn’t really that well known, but they do wear the Standard NEXUS Police Uniform always.

MAG Department

  • The MAG Department is responsible for making and engineering NEXUS Police MAG Operators, as making a MAG requires a lot of time, effort and money. This division is usually not seen, however they do have engineer masks with blue visors and a police beret, with the standard NEXUS Police outfit and vest which does not bear the words ‘Police’ on it.
  • Usually wielding Pistols as the standard issue, along with batons and a SMG as a secondary if required.

- The NEXUS Police is DEADLY Underrated, most people don't know about this organisation, and many people assume NEXUS City never had any type of law enforcement, however this is dubbed 'The Offical Police Force of NEXUS City'

- The NEXUS Police has a NC Logo on their badge, it can mean two things

1. NEXUS Core Police

2. NEXUS City Police

- The NEXUS Police represents some sort of divison within Security and Order Bureau Nevada
