The Sguard are a group of ninjas and thugs led by Steve. They are the main antagonists of Maximum Ninja - 3.
History
Pre-Maximum Ninja
After Steve gained his magical powers, he set about raising an army to assist him in his goals and taking out anyone who could possibly challenge him.
Maximum Ninja - 3
After Steve killed the Ninja's friend, John Kingston, the Ninja set about avenging his friend. Several Sguard members fought the Ninja as he made his way through the base.
As the Ninja killed all the Sguards stationed in the courtyard, three Sguard soldiers reported what was happening to Steve. Steve responded by resurrecting the fallen Sguard members as zombies. However, the Ninja was able to defeat the reanimated Sguards too.
Meanwhile, the Sguard would soon find themselves fighting against someone else as well. David Corsen, seeking revenge on Steve for almost killing him, infiltrated the base and fought several members of the Sguard.
Eventually, the Ninja made his way to Steve's office. Steve ordered the Sguards stationed there to leave as he prepared to fight the Ninja one-on-one.
