Steve is the main antagonist of the Maximum Ninja series. He is a mysterious figure who leads the Sguard and has numerous supernatural powers, including reanimating people as zombies. Since the Ninja also possesses a gem similar to his, Steve seeks to kill the ninja so he may remain unchallenged.

History

Pre-Maximum Ninja

Steve was originally in debt to David Corsen. When David went to collect his payment, Steve shot him and one of his goons and stole the green gem around his neck, which granted Steve supernatural powers as soon as he touched it.

Maximum Ninja 1

After the Ninja killed Arashikage and rescued John Kingston, Steve reanimated Arashikage to kill the Ninja.

Maximum Ninja 2

After the Ninja and John went to the airport and made their way through the remaining Asian Mafia Grunts, Steve appeared to confront the two, armed with dual pistols.

Maximum Ninja 3

Steve shot both of the protagonists, shattering the Ninja's mechanical visor and killing John before teleporting away. The Ninja swore revenge on Steve for killing his friend and, after getting a new look, went to attack Steve's Base. Steve was notified by several of his minions that the Ninja had made his way to the courtyard. In response, Steve reanimated several of the Sguard members that the Ninja had killed as zombie. However, the Ninja fought his way through and defeated the zombie Sguards. Eventually, the Ninja made his way into Steve's office. Steve ordered his guards to exit the room so he could fight the Ninja one-on-one.
