Raktuselm, also known as Ra is the leader of the Employers and the secondary antagonist of the REALM series, being Zalmamdar Oox's main antagonist.

History

REALM 4: Illuviation

Raktuselm is first introduced at the start of the episode supervising Nevada from the commodity of the Employers' realm, when he's suddenly approached by Osiris, who warns Ra of Sokar's stance on Nevada and suggests taking action. Ra proceeds to assure Osiris that Sokar is not as much of a threat to them and expresses his curiosity towards Kelzad Oox defeating Sokar.

He reappears alongside Osiris and Annulfer after observing Kelzad and Sokar's fight. Annulfer suggests for the Employers to intefere now that Sokar has been weakened, but Ra insists on letting Kelzad take care of Sokar while they take back Nevada from Sokar.

REALM 5: Revelation

Raktuselm dispatches Osiris, Annulfer and Atvur to retriever Zalmamdar Oox from Nevada and bring the scientist to him. However, Osiris ends up betraying the other employers and eliminating both Annulfer and Atvur to keep his cover.

Nearing the end of the animation, Ra is approached by Osiris who informs the former of Apof'iser and Lokel have dissapeared and it's most likely Sokar's doing, trying to convince Ra to intervene. Ra becomes enraged and assume his true form, before dismissing Apof'iser and Lokel's demise and claiming that he will slay the "bastard child" himself.

Appearance

Much like the other employers, Raktuselm appears as a shadowy, black flaming figure with red eyes. However, his true form is that of a dark, dragon-like skull with red outlines and glowing red eyes connected to a spinal cord.
