The Norinco 97k, also known as the Norinco HP9-1, N870-14.00, Hawk 982, or simply Hawk shotgun, is a Chinese shotgun based on the Remington 870. It appears in semi-automatic form, with a folding stock and large magazine, notably used by Deimos to cover Sanford in Madness Combat 5.5 as he applied his bandana, making the traditional "rock & roll" finger sign as he fired it. He then discards it after the ammo depleted and beat an agent to death with it. It later reappears in Madness Combat 10: Abrogation without the stock, a longer barrel, and in pump-action form. In Incident: 110A, it appears with a shorter barrel, similar to the one in Madness Combat 5.5. It also appears this way in Incident: 1000A and ROMP.FLA.

In Madness: Project Nexus (Classic), it is the cheapest shotgun.
