Appearances

The Franchi SPAS-12 is an Italian combat shotgun widely used by SWAT teams. It was used by A.A.H.W. units in Incident: 100A and Incident: 110A.

The SPAS-12 can be used in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic) and is the only shotgun whose ammunition is reloaded one round at a time. Although it is much slower to fully reload, the SPAS-12 has the advantage of being able to be reloaded at any time without wasting leftover ammunition. The SPAS-12 can hold 8 shots at a time with 16 shells in reserve, if any.

The weapon returns to MADNESS: Project Nexus as the Autour-12 or A12 and is a frequently wielded shotgun by most factions, including on occasion MERC Sergeants, Nexus Engineers and even A.A.H.W Engineers.

Glitch

Due to the individual shells counting as individual reloads, if picked up from a dead enemy in Story Mode on Easy difficulty, it will only have 3 shells in reserve instead of 16, due to the maximum of magazines all other weapons can have in reserve is 3.

MADNESS: Project Nexus stats

In MADNESS: Project Nexus, it can be purchased from Quartermaster Bert's store for 400 cash provided the player has completed either Slaughter Time or Haunting of Nevada House.
