The battle axe is a melee weapon that appears in Madness Combat 6: Antipathy and makes a cameo in Madness Combat 7: Consternation. In Madness Combat 6, it is held by a grunt, but it is then stolen by Hank, who uses it to kill Tricky.

A battle axe also appeared in Madness Combat 11: Expurgation being wielded by a Tricky skeleton, but its user was killed by Hank after trying to swing the axe at him.

A similar weapon, the mega hammer, appears to be the mag-sized version of the battle axe. It was used by The Mag Agent: V3 in Madness Aggregation.
