The AK-74 is a Russian assault rifle developed in the early 1970's to succeed the AK-47. In Incident: 011A, a grunt used one to shoot at Mag Agent: Torture, only to be punched into the wall.

The AK-74 can be used in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic). It is the rifle with the slowest rate of fire. A variant of the gun, the AK-74U, is also available in the game.

It appears in Portal Turret AMV, where it is colored and has a wooden stock.
