The flyssa is a traditional Algerian sword. Its debut, and its only appearance so far is in Madness Combat 11: Expurgation. However, on one of his streams Krinkels drew a new version of the flyssa sprite, to fit with the current art style of the series. This suggests the weapon will return in future animations.

In Madness Combat 11, a flyssa appeared in the hands of a Tricky skeleton who was quickly killed by Sanford's painstick. Shortly thereafter, Sanford picked up the flyssa and used it alongside his painstick to kill several more skeletons until he tried to throw it at Tricky.
