The H&K MP5 is a German submachine gun chambered for the 9x19mm Parabellum round. It appeared frequently in the early episodes and in Madness Interactive with many different designs. It had a short barrel in Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis and a scope in Madness Combat 6: Antipathy. It appeared in Incident: 101A in the hands of Tricky as he jumped out of the giant cake and killed everyone with it. It was also one of Sanford's starting weapons in ROMP.FLA, where it was used to kill several A.A.H.W. units and mustached characters. In Madness Combat 9.5, Hank takes one from the first A.T.P. Engineer he ever encounters and uses it for a bit.

The MP5 is also a usable weapon in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic).

The MP5 appears in MADNESS: Project Nexus as the NP-5 or Nevadean Protector MK.5 and is a very common SMG in the story mode as well as also being apart of Doc's Loadout "A" when playing in Co-Op and Sanford's for his "B" loadout. In Arena Mode it can be bought from the Quartermaster after the completion of either Slaughter Time or Haunting of Nevada House. The NP-5 has many different customizations and can be made into an SD variant or something resembling that of an MP5k.
