The iron sword is a medieval-style weapon with sharpened sides used for slashing or stabbing. It appeared in Madness Abrogation, where it was used by an A.T.P. engineer. The sword appeared to be a longer version of the iron knife. The Auditor uses a special version of this sword in this episode, the difference being a glowing dark blade instead of an iron one.

The iron sword is also a usable melee weapon in Madness: Project Nexus (Classic). It is the weakest sword in the game.
